I was about to give up…..i couldnt find a pastor…I READ AND STILL READING THE BIBLE…at first I dont understand but kept reading…until I started reading the New Testament….then something happened…it made me hungry by the words of God through our Lord Jesus Christ….. Start reading..The Holy Spirit will guide you…asking help from a pastor means the Holy Spirit is starting to guide you.

I remember walking on the busy Mombasa road, Nairobi Kenya in 2017. A pickup vehicle suddenly stopped and the screeching sound was enough to get the attention of all pedestrians. A woman jumped out of the vehicle holding a child in sheer terror. She was screaming and her child’s lifeless body and foaming mouth was evidence that all was not well. We stood afar watching her call the name of Jesus repeatedly. No one dared to go nearby. In less than 10 minutes which appeared like eternity, child coughed, opened eyes and was crying ‘mama’. I was shocked…that has remained with me since. I was not born again and dedicated my life to Christ in 2020. Not because of that child’s incidence….I just had a conviction that I needed to seek the Kingdom of God before anything else..having come from a Catholic background I may not have understood what happened on the Mombasa road that day..but I now know that the name of Jesus Christ saved that child. Let me always remember to call on that name.
