Are we expected to never sin again after repentance or is guilt after sin (changed mind) part of the repentance? I’ve struggled with porn since teenage years. Same for alcohol. I do these things due to loss of control but then I repent and feel extremely guilty afterwards. I’ve seen these testimonies of hell and they caused me to delete my porn accounts, throw away like lubrication etc. Does God know I’m trying? Does it count?

“It’s so crazy how most Christians don’t take sins seriously anymore” and here I am, debating on whether or not I should attend a church for the first time in my adult life, because I don’t feel like I’m good enough to enter into one. Not that I will ever be “good enough”, I know it’s all just my lack of confidence, but my sins are too many, even for me to bear. Please read Romans 8:1 and Luke 5:32 and 1 John 3:20. Please Jesus came for sinners not for holy people. And the Bible says ALL have sinned. None of us can ever be good enough and that’s why Jesus shed His blood for our sins and that’s why God gave us GRACE.. Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.” Pls don’t let your sins make you feel like u can’t come close to God. He loved you whilst you were deep in sin and that’s why He sent His son. Please run to him irregardless! HES the one who will clean you up. Focus on knowing and loving Him, don’t focus on the sins. With time as you build a loving relationship with Him He will begin to Change u through the Holy Spirit and change your desires. He will give you power to overcome your sins and most importantly he will make you His son 💕
This was a lie that kept me from the Lord for far too long. I kept telling myself, “Once I fix this or that, then I’ll be more worthy to approach Christ.” When I finally got the realization that I’ll never be “good enough” or worthy enough to be in His presence, I was able to truly have a relationship with Him.
It’s a lie, beloved. God said come as you are. He will meet you where you’re at. He will cleanse you. He will take away the spots. You will be cleansed in His holy blood. Don’t wait. He already knows where you are and is still waiting for you to come to Him. ❤

This teaching that all is lost after a certain point in sin, causes people like myself (a person who is struggling in life), to feel hopeless, and give up on even trying to break free from the bondage of living in sin and searching for God and the truth, when you make someone feel like it is too late for them. All have sinned and fallen short. So, start teaching how to change from the old ways into the new. Teach us how to repent properly when we have sinful struggles, strongholds, and addictions in our lives that don’t change overnight, even when we want them to ….

We literally cannot stop sinning in the flesh, sin is beyond the actions we do, it is an inheritance of Adam, we are born in sin the moment we’re conceived in the womb:

It’s not possible to “stop” sinning in the flesh, however, the moment you have faith in the gospel, faith Jesus DBR for your sins alone for salvation and not works, the holy spirit resides within you and you become sinless in the SPIRIT, unable to sin by the Holy spirit:
